My route maps are broken down by calendar year. Select an interactive route map by clicking on the desired year below. Check back as I’ll update it periodically as my road trip progresses.
Places that I camped, Destinations, are shown on the map as red RV pins. Places that I visited for the day, Sightseeing, are marked as yellow binocular pins.
You can zoom in and out of the map using either the +/- buttons or the scroll wheel on your mouse.
You can turn layers off (routes, destinations, sightseeing) by clicking on the checkbox. I apologize for the confusion that the route pins (lettered pins) can cause on the map. It is a limitation of Google My Maps which only allows ten route pins in a layer. I recommend turning the routes off and then exploring the destination and sightseeing pins. Clicking on pins will give you information about that site.
